Stay Tuned........
It's coming.
The China Chronicles will start this Sunday. In between catching up at work, falling asleep at the drop of a hat at the most inconvenient times, and battling insomnia at 3:00 AM, I've also been fine tuning some pics, and I'll start to put together some posts. They aren't going to be chronological per se, but rather topical depending on the photos and the stories that go with them.
First though, I've been waiting all week to try out my new health club - MAC Inner Harbor East. It opened while I was away, and I'm headed there after work for a long swim, and a nice sauna. My neighbor checked it out over the weekend and said the salt water lap pool is amazing. I was hoping to check it out last Sunday when I got back, but jet lag ruled, and I've had evening activities all week so far.
Salt water lap pool? Now, what's the point in that? I know it's rather unique and interesting, but it seems like a waste of time to me. Having been a personal trainer at MAC Canton, I thought I'd seen everything. haha Cool!
The salt water in these pools is only 1/20 as salty as the ocean. Your tears are 12 times saltier. The water is amazingly soft on your skin, your eyes don't burn, and it's much easier on the pipes and the environment. A cleaner, less harsh solution than chlorine. The pool is chlorine right now. You can't put salt into freshly poured concrete for at least 5 weeks, so I have to wait till Nove 1 for that. It was still really nice.
