Rats!
This is just one of at least 6 juvenile rats that have suddenly taken to appearing all over my yard and deck in broad daylight. That means a nest. I have no idea what food source they are accessing. I have no trash or trashcans in my yard. This is one of the very few things I dislike about living in the city. Time to get some traps.....
Sally - yes, cute now, ugly later. A new gate is going in tomorrow, which should eliminate the point of entry which seems to have occured during my recent renovation project. Traps are out, so far, no takers.
Hey, adult rats are very charismatic and very smart. Stop maligning the rats and just kill them. No reason to sully their reputation with species specific slurs.
I'm coming over with my shotgun. Target practice!
