15 Seconds of Fame
My family's Sunday morning ritual for the last 20+ years has been to watch CBS Sunday Morning. Whether it's been Charles Kuralt, or Charles Osgood, we even call each other if a segment is really good to make sure the other person is watching. Well, this morning, my brother appeared on the program because the main story this morning was on the Solar Decathlon I posted about a couple of weeks ago, and he was one of the engineering judges. He wasn't interviewed by David Pogue (how cool would THAT be??), but he was on screen for about 3 seconds during the awards ceremony with the Secretary of Energy.

Luckily, thanks to the wonders of Tivo, I was able to not only record the episode, but I downloaded it to my laptop and can burn a DVD of it, so we have it for posterity's sake.
