Casa de Broadsheet Update
Well, we lost 3 days in a row to rain last week, but this week, much progress has been made! Two young gentleman worked VERY hard to manually dig out the deck foundation and got down to 8 inches below grade. In the process, they hacked out some very large roots from the old monster tree, so I felt even more validated in taking it down. Then, they laid felt paper down to keep any weeds from growing, and started to lay crushed stone for the patio foundation.

Meanwhile, they've been busy rebuilding my back stairs with brick and timber.

Today, they delivered the stone for the seating wall and patio.

Stay tuned - by this time next week, I should have my yard back!
