New Year's Day
Meet Peanut and Pumpkin. They have taken to the habit of dragging the blanket off the couch, onto the floor, and then creating their own nest to sleep on. This, in the middle of the aftermath from my New Year's Eve party (note bottles and glasses on the table.)
Nope - they're my boys! Just a couple of stray littermates I rescued as kittens from a farm out in Westminster that belongs to the parents of a colleague of mine. They replaced "Buddy" who I had had since college and was 19 when he died. They are in their "terrible twos" and are into EVERYTHING. I'll post a better picture of Pumpkin next week - he's really got pretty markings. They are bigger than most of the dogs in my neighborhood.....
Holy Furballs! Those are a couple of big cats, are they mainecoons?
