It's not going to happen -- Bush never fires anybody, regardless of much they fuck up. Chertoff, too, needs to go - part of DHS' mandate is response to natural disasters (not just terrorist disasters). The ball was dropped in a big way -- the mayor of New Orleans, in my opinion, is probably deserving of some criminal charges coming his way -- but the fuck-ups at the local level in no way excuse the horrible response at the Federal level.

Can you imagine if a nuke was smuggled into Baltimore? These bumbling assholes are the ones we'd be depending on to help us?

I tell ya what, I'm thinking its time to pick up a .45 and stock up on bottled water and saltines.

PS - spammers suck, I hope your anti-spammer measures work.

Snay - I agree with you buddy. I'm just frustrated like everyone else. Brown is a complete tool. He reminds me of a character from "The Office".

Sorry about the security measures, but the content spammers were winning the war.

I'm not complaining about the security measures, Linda -- mind you, I dumped Moveable Type because they'd WON the war.

I can't wait until the Network Movie of the Week -- "The Day Katrina Struck" starring Ricky Gervais as Michael Brown.
